CloudSites allows you to create users to authenticate with IIS Manager so you can remotely connect to your IIS instance as well as users to authenticate to publish via WebDeploy. These users are individual accounts that are tied to specific IIS entries (aka full domains).
Adding a New User
1. From the myCloud v3 click on the User Manager module in the main console.
2. Under the User Manager section you will have the option to add new users as well as view details of existing users. To add a new user, click Create a New Web User Account.
3. You will be prompted to input a username and password for the new user as well as select which sites this user has access to. Simple click the site on the left hand side, and then click the right arrow to add the site. Alternately you can click the double arrow to add all sites.
4. When complete, click the Save Web User button at the bottom.
These users now have access to features like WebMatrix as well as IIS Remote Manager for the sites specified.
