If you want to connect to your CloudSites account via secure FTP or sftp in order to upload or download files on a secure connection please follow the steps below.
1.) Download CoreFTP LE from here
2.) Open a new connection window by clicking on the server icon in the toolbar, pictured below.
In the connection window that results please enter your CloudSites FTP credentials. If you do not have a FTP account set up please see here.
V3 CloudSites FTP address is: ftp.v3.cloudsites.gearhost.com
V2 CloudSites FTP address is: ftp.cloudsites.gearhost.com
Username: Your FTP user you created. Simply input the full username (it will have the format XXXXXX|ftpusername, where XXXXXX is your account ID, followed by a pipe symbol and then your chosen username). The Account ID will be included in the FTP account name in FTP Manager as well as on the right hand side of myCloud.
Password: You created this password when creating the FTP account in the previous article, simply input your password in this field.
Port: Leave this field blank.
In the drop down menu labeled "Connection" please set this to AUTH SSL and click connect.
In the top of CoreFTP you should see connection dialog similar to:
